At St. George’s Anglican Church in Devon, we follow Jesus Christ in a spirit of love, hope, and compassion. As part of the Anglican Church of Canada and the global Anglican Communion, our faith is rooted in Scripture, guided by tradition, and lived out in community.
We believe:
God’s love is for everyone. We welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and life stories. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you have a place here.
Jesus calls us to love our neighbours. We seek to live out that call through prayer, worship, and service within Devon and beyond.
Scripture shapes our faith. The Bible is read, preached, and reflected upon each week as God’s living word for us today.
The Sacraments sustain us. In Holy Communion, Baptism, and other sacramental moments, we encounter God’s grace and are reminded that we are never alone.
Faith grows in community. We walk together with humility, curiosity, and kindness, trusting that questions and wonder are part of a healthy spiritual life.
We belong to something larger. As Anglicans, we are connected to churches in Canada and around the world, joining millions of Christians in prayer, mission, and shared faith.
Above all, we believe that God meets us with love—exactly as we are—and invites us into a life of purpose, joy, and hope.
